7-22-2018 (Camden County) - GLOUCESTER TWP. - 1083 Davistown Rd. - All Hands Dwelling

Just after 16:00hrs., Dispatch began receiving calls for a dwelling fire. Even as units were still being dispatched, reports were received of trapped occupants and all Second Source units were dispatched as well. 6201 arrived on location with heavy fire showing fro the Alpha-Bravo corner, confirmed all occupants were accounted for, and assumed 840. Engine 88 arrived first due, and went right into service with a 1-3/4" line on the exterior. Engine 861 arrived and secured the water supply, while Squad 62 stretched a second line to Division 2. Having established the water supply, Engine 861's crew began opening up for Squad 62. Upon Ladder 82's arrival, its crew was split, with half laddering the residence, while the other half acted as the RIC until the arrival of Gloucester County Engine 933 (Deptford). With the arrival of Engine 841, a third handline was stretched to back up the interior line on the second floor. The fire was placed under control within 30 minutes, but crews remained on location for another 90 minutes performing extensive salvage and overhaul. No firefighter injuries were reported, though one occupant was treated for an undisclosed condition.
