10-16-2018 - (Camden County) - MAGNOLIA - 621 N. Walnut Ave. - Reported Dwelling

Crews were dispatched at 12:25 for a reported dwelling fire. Upon arrival, it was found that a utility pole had fallen onto a fence just feet away from the house, igniting the transformers, wires, and surrounding brush. Due to the electrical hazard, crews needed to wait for PSE&G to arrive to secure power to the live wires before extinguishing the fire. The home sustained damage to the exterior from radiant heat, but there was no extension.
