1-6-2018 (Camden County) GLOUCESTER TWP. - 1302 Glendora Ave. - 2nd Alarm Dwelling

Crews were dispatched at 14:33 for a reported dwelling. The caller stated he was thawing a pipe with a torch when fire broke out. The caller claimed to have extinguished it, though there was still and interior smoke condition. Upon investigation by first arriving crews, it was found the fire had spread into the wall, and the All Hands was struck. Due to the extremely low temperature, additional manpower was needed, and the Second Alarm was struck. The fire was placed under control about 40 minutes later, with no injuries reported. In all, units from all Gloucester Township stations, Runnemede, Magnolia, Somerdale, Bellmawr, Barrington, Mt. Ephraim, and Deptford responded.
