1-3-2018 (Camden County) GLOUCESTER TWP. - 9 Iron Gate Rd. - All Hands Dwelling

At 03:53, Task Force 86 was dispatched for a dwelling. County received multiple calls reporting heavy fire showing throughout the structure. BLS 804 arrived and confirmed an under construction 3 story, end of row fully involved. 8602 signed on, reported a visible column and struck the All Hands. Quint 85 secured a water supply and went into service with it's main. Engine 62 eventually gained entry to the Delta exposure building and reported fire in the attic space. Two 1 3/4" lines were stretched to handle the extension, with Squad 25 taking the plug to supply Engine 62. Ladder 63 took a position on the C-Side, and its crew went to work assisting on the interior of the neighboring unit. Crews not only battled the fire, but extreme cold, a serious electrical hazard, and a portion of the fire in the original building being fed by a ruptured gas line. No injuries were reported. The fire was the 3rd at this site, and is under investigation by local, county, and state authorities.
