9-17-2017 (Camden County) GLOUCESTER TWP. 20 York Terrace - All Hands Dwelling

Task Force 86 was dispatched for a dwelling at 00:56. 8602 (Brown) arrived and reported all residents evacuated and accounted for, with heavy fire from the A-B corner. He immediately struck the All Hands. Engine 62 laid supply line and went into service with a 1 3/4" handline. Once Squad 86 arrived and took the hydrant, Engine 62 placed a second 1 3/4" line into service. Crews made fast work of the fire, quickly placing it under control. Though the residents were displaced, the fire was contained almost primarily to the garage, with radiant heat damage to the neighboring home. The cause of the fire is unknown, and is under investigation by the Camden County Prosecutors Office.
