3-20-2014 (Gloucester County) WEST DEPTFORD - 14 Biscayne Blvd - Dwelling Fire with Entrapment

District 6 was dispatched to the unit block Biscayne Blvd. for the reported house fire with people trapped inside. FM-6 arrived and discovered a working fire requesting the all-hands and the first arriving unit to stretch an 1 3/4 handline. 666 arrived first and through a ground ladder to the rear of the dwelling where the located a female victim standing outside on the roof. 614 arrived and stretched a 1 3/4 to the 1st floor and made a rapid knock. 516 arrived 3rd due and began throwing ground ladders to all sides of the dwelling and opening up the windows. Crews stretched the handline to the 2nd floor and knocked down some minor extension. Crews searched the attic with negative extension. Once the fire was placed under control crews began opening up wall to check for hot spots. The fire is under investigation by the West Deptford Twp. FMO and a cause has not yet been determined. No injuries were reported.
