9-30-2013(Camden County) GLOUCESTER CITY- 314 N. Broadway-3rd Alarm Dwelling

Companies arrived with a 3 story twin wood frame dwelling with heavy smoke showing. Crews located heavy fire conditions in the basement with heavy smoke throughout. Crews made a interior attack but were ordered out of the building as conditions worsened. Ladder Companies opened up as multiple 2 1/2" hand lines and a Ladder Pipe were placed in operaiton. A 2nd Alarm was transmitted. Crews reported heavy fire conditions on the 2nd floor. 3rd Alarm was transmitted. Crews remained in a defensive operation and worked to protect the attached exposure. Fire was knocked down and placed under control with no injuries to firefighters.
