6-11-2013 (Gloucester County) WOODBURY 46 Penn Street - Dwelling

District 5 was dispatched to 46 Penn Street for Dwelling, 501 arrived to find a 3 story single family home, with heavy fire from the number two floor. 501 requested the all hands box to be struck, bringing companies from Verga, Thorofare, and Woodbury Heights. Quick work of the fire was made, the fire placed under control by 501, and companies remained on scene for the overhaul. FM 5 is conducting the investigation. 1 resident was transported to Cooper University Hospital, by the BLS for evaluation. Additional BLS were requested to the scene due to the extreme hot weather conditions. No firefighter injuries were reported at the scene, some were treated for heat exhaustion and released.
