11-19-2011(Camden County)GLOUCESTER CITY 923 Middlesex St.- All Hands Dwelling

Task Force 5 dispached for a reported dwelling fire after 911 recieved a call from the neighbor reporting they can see and smell smoke from the house next door to them. Battalion 504 and Squad 51 arrived within minutes to a 2 1/2 wood frame single family dwelling with heavy smoke showing. The All Hands box was struck. Squad 51 led off with a 1 3/4" hand line as a water supply was being established. Audubon's Ladder placed ground ladders and opened up. Interior companies reported fire conditions on the 1st floor and heavy smoke throughout. Two hand lines were stretched and placed in operation. Searches of the dwelling were negative. The fire was knocked down as crews opened up to check for extension. The fire was placed under control with no reported injuries.
