10-08-2011(Gloucester County)DEPTFORD- 620 Vassar Rd - All Hands Dewlling

CMD 9102 (Hooper) arrived on scene with a 2 1/2 story split level, single family dwelling with heavy smoke and flames showing. GC 911 upgraded the box, to a working fire. Companies attempted an aggressive interior attack, but were forced to evacuate due to high heat, and rapid fire spread. Once evacuation was preformed, companies regrouped and made aggressive exterior attack. The fire was placed on under control, with 40minutes. Companies returned inside to knock remaining hot spots, and preform some overhaul. The Fire is being investigated by the Deptford Fire Marshal's Office, in conjunction with the Deptford Police Department. No injuries were reported.
