6-6-2010 (Gloucester County) WESTVILLE Broadway & Oak Street - MVC with Entrapment

On June 6th, 2010 Westville and National Park Fire Departments were dispatched to the area of Broadway and Oak Street for MVC with entrapment. Deputy Chief Tucker arrived on scene to find a 3 vehicle MVC and was checking on injuries. Witness state the truck lost control hit a parked car head on, ran over a park bench, through the NJ Transit bus stop and then t-boned an occupied car. Companies arrived and assisted BLS units from Westville, Deptford, and Gloucester City with packaging 4 patients who were all transported to area hospitals. The Rescue Co. would use the "O" cutters to remove the rest of the bench and bus stop sign, as Engine 811 secured the fluids on the roadway.
