6-1-2010(Camden County)CHERRY HILL Cooper River-Water Recovery
On June 1, 2010 the Cherry Hill Fire Department was dispatched for a Water Rescue Assignment at Cooper River.
Camden County Communications reported a witness saw a man go under the water. The witness gave the area where he was last seen to companies on location.
No occupant when crews arrived. Cherry Hill placed the marine unit in the water as well as divers to search near the banks.
Collingswood, Westmont and Pennsauken Marine Units were added to the assignment.
Crews located the occupant who was pronounced D.O.A on scene.
