3-11-2010(Camden County)WOODLYNNE 314 Laurel Ave- All Hands Dwelling
At 1:57 p.m. a dwelling fire was reported in Woodlynne at 314 Laurel Ave. Woodlynne Station 17-3, Collingswood Station 16-1 and Camden City Engine 10 were dispatched on the dwelling box. 1601 arrived on location and reported a 2 story twin with smoke showing from the 2nd floor striking the all hands. Squad 16 arrived and secured a water supply and led off with a 1 ¾” hand line. Companies reported heavy fire in a bedroom on the 2nd floor. A back up line was stretched by the 2nd due Engine Company. Camden City Ladder 2 was special called above the all hands box. Primary searches were conducted with negative results. 2 dogs were removed from the dwelling. One dog was D.O.A. The fire was placed under control with no reported injuries. The Camden County Fire Marshals Office has the fire under investigation.
