2-1-2010(Camden County)CAMDEN 768 Division- All Hands Dwelling

A dwelling fire was reported at 2:36 p.m. The full dwelling box assignment was dispatched. Camden County Communications dispatched the 3rd due Engine Company as a 2nd call was received for the fire. Engine 8, arrived and reported a 2 story middle of the row, occupied dwelling with heavy smoke showing. Battalion 1 arrived and struck the all hands for heavy fire on the 1st floor with heavy smoke throughout. Engine 8 led off with a 1 ¾” hand line as a water supply was secured. The Rescue Company performed a primary search as the Ladder Company opened up. Two hand lines were placed in operation to contain and extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported on the fire ground. The Camden City Fire Marshals have the fire under investigation.
