12-7-2010 (Camden County)CAMDEN 4 N. 27th St.- All Hands Dwelling

On Tuesday December 7, 2010 units were dispatched in Camden City for a dwelling fire at 27th Street and Federal, right across the street from the firehouse. Engine 9, Ladder 3, and Battalion 2 pulled out to find smoke coming from a boarded vacant dwelling. Ladder 3 forced entry into the dwelling as Engine 9 reported heavy fire conditions on the 2nd floor. Battalion 2 struck the All Hands box. Engine 11 secured a water supply as Rescue 1 reported searches to be negative. 2 hand lines were placed in operation to knock the fire down. The fire was placed under control with no reported injuries. The Camden City Fire Marshals office has the fire under investigation.
