7-4-2009(Camden County)CAMDEN 1138 Princess -All Hands Dwelling

At 8:30 p.m. a dwelling fire was reported at 1138 Princess Ave in Camden City. Squad 7 arrived to find a occupied, two story middle of the row dwelling with heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor. Battalion 1 arrived and sounded the all hands box. Squad 7 secured their own water supply and went into operation with a 1 ¾” hand line to find heavy fire conditions on the 2nd floor. A back up like was stretched and placed in operation as Ladder 2 placed ground ladders. Rescue 1 performed searches with negative results. The fire was placed under control just prior to the 20 minute mark. The fire is under investigation by the Camden City Fire Marshals Office. No firefighter injuries were reported.
