8-3-2008(Camden County)CAMDEN 810 Front St.-All Hands Dwelling

Camden City units were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at 810 Front Street in the North side of the City at 11:10 p.m. Engine 6 arrived and reported a 2 story middle of the row dwelling with heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor. Engine 6 went in to operation with a 1 ¾” hand line. Battalion 2 arrived and struck the all hands box. Ladder 1 set up ground ladders as Rescue 1 performed a search and Engine 1 secured a water supply and stretched a back up line. Crews contained the fire in the vacant dwelling from spreading to the occupied exposures. The fire was placed under control with no reported injuries on the fire ground. The fire is under investigation by the Camden City Fire Marshals.
