7-20-2008 (Camden County)CAMDEN 1138 Marion St.-All Hands Dwelling

A box was transmitted in the City of Camden for a reported dwelling fire at 1138 Marion Street. Engine 8 arrived and reported a 2 story ordinary, vacant with heavy fire conditions. A water supply was secured as hand lines were placed in operation. Searches were negative as Ladder 3 opened up. The all hands was sounded as Command reported heavy smoke showing from the attached exposure as well. Command ordered all companies out as building conditions worsened. Companies set up for defensive operations. Ladder 3 placed the ladder pipe in operation as multiple hand lines were placed in operation as well. No firefighter injuries were reported on the fire ground
