At 10:30 p.m a dwelling box was dispatched at 4752 Browning Rd in Pennsauken Township. Pennsauken Police were on location reporting a working fire. EMS arrived and confirmed heavy fire conditions. Command arrived and reported a 1 ½ story single family vacant dwelling with heavy fire conditions striking the all hands. All units were directed to set up for a defensive attack due to the dwelling being vacant for years. Crews arrived and stretched multiple hand lines and set up the deck gun for an exterior attack. The bulk of the fire was knocked down on the 1st floor within the 20 minute mark with still heavy smoke throughout. Crews battled the blaze as the fire spread and was not through the roof. 2 additional engine crews were called for additional water supply. Command placed the fire under control around midnight. No injuries were reported on the fire ground. The Pennsauken Fire Department and Camden County Fire Marshals have the fire under investigation.
