12-15-2008(Camden County)CAMDEN 1215 Park Blvd.-2nd Alarm Dwelling

At 7:30 hours a dwelling box was dispatched in Camden City at 1520 Park Blvd. Squad Company 7 arrived and reported smoke showing. Battalion 1 arrived and reported a 2 story middle of the row with heavy fire conditions. The 2nd Alarm was transmitted. Squad 7 went into operation with a 1 ¾” hand line as the 2nd due engine stretched a backup line and the Ladder Company through ground ladders and opened up. Rescue 1 performed searches with negative results. Companies held the fire to the original fire building without extension. One firefighter was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The Camden City Fire Marshals have the fire under investigation.
